Corrections Policy
Effective date: 1 April 2026 · Last updated: 7 April 2026
1. Our commitment to accuracy
Getting things right matters. AT EASE is committed to publishing accurate, well-researched, and trustworthy content. When we make a mistake, we want to know about it and correct it promptly and transparently.
Every article undergoes editorial review before publication, and our content is periodically audited for freshness and accuracy. Despite these measures, errors can occur. This policy explains how we handle them.
2. Types of corrections
We classify corrections into three levels:
Minor corrections
Typos, grammatical errors, formatting issues, and broken links. These are fixed without a correction notice, as they do not affect the substance of the article.
Factual corrections
Errors in facts, data, statistics, product specifications, or attributions. These are corrected in the text, and a correction notice is appended at the bottom of the article with the date and nature of the correction.
Significant corrections
Errors that materially affect the article's conclusions, recommendations, or advice. These are corrected in the text, and a prominent correction notice is placed at the top of the article. If the correction changes a product recommendation, the article's ranking or rating is updated accordingly.
3. How to report an error
If you spot a factual error, outdated information, broken link, or any other inaccuracy in our content, we encourage you to report it. You can reach us through:
- Contact form — use our contact page with the subject “Report a correction”.
- Email — send details to corrections@allatease.com.
Please include:
- The URL of the article
- The specific section or statement that is incorrect
- The correct information, with a source if possible
- Your name (optional, but helpful for follow-up)
4. Our process
- Acknowledgement — we aim to acknowledge correction requests within 24 hours.
- Investigation — our editorial team verifies the reported error against reliable sources.
- Correction — if the error is confirmed, we correct the article and add the appropriate correction notice within 48 hours.
- Notification — if you provided contact details, we will notify you when the correction is made.
Urgent corrections — particularly those involving health, safety, or financial information — are prioritised and addressed as quickly as possible, typically within 12 hours.
5. Content freshness
In addition to reactive corrections, we proactively monitor content freshness. Our automated compliance system scans articles weekly to flag content that may be outdated based on age, topic sensitivity, and last-updated dates. Articles flagged for review are updated or retired as appropriate.
6. Transparency
We never silently alter the substance of a published article. All factual and significant corrections are documented with a dated correction notice visible to readers. This commitment to transparency is central to the trust our readers place in us.
