Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: 1 April 2026 · Last updated: 7 April 2026
In short: Some links on AT EASE are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences our editorial decisions or recommendations.
1. How we earn
AT EASE is a reader-supported publication. We earn revenue through affiliate partnerships with retailers and service providers. When you click an affiliate link on our site and complete a purchase, we receive a small percentage of the sale as a referral commission. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the store.
We participate in multiple affiliate programmes, including but not limited to Amazon Associates (India, US, UK), and direct partnerships with product manufacturers and service providers. Affiliate links are geo-targeted — meaning you are automatically routed to the correct regional store for your country.
2. Editorial independence
Our editorial process is entirely independent of our affiliate relationships. Affiliate partnerships never influence:
- Which products we choose to review or recommend
- How we rate, rank, or compare products
- The conclusions or opinions expressed in our content
- Whether we publish positive or negative assessments
We recommend products based on genuine research, testing, and editorial judgement — not commission rates. If a product is poor, we will say so regardless of any affiliate relationship. If a better non-affiliate product exists, we will recommend it.
3. How we identify affiliate links
Affiliate content on AT EASE is identified in the following ways:
- Article-level disclosure — review articles and product recommendation pages include a disclosure notice at the top of the page.
- Link language — affiliate links use call-to-action language such as “Check current price”, “View on Amazon”, or “Buy now”.
- Link attributes — all affiliate links include
rel="nofollow sponsored"in the HTML as required by search engine guidelines. - Internal tagging — articles containing affiliate links are internally tagged for transparency and compliance audits.
4. Sponsored content
Occasionally, AT EASE may publish content that is sponsored by a brand or company. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled with a “Sponsored” badge and a disclosure at the top of the article. Sponsored content goes through the same editorial review process as all other content.
We retain full editorial control over all sponsored content. Sponsors may suggest topics, but they do not approve or modify the final article. If a sponsor's product does not meet our standards, we will decline the partnership.
5. FTC and regulatory compliance
This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines, and the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) Code. We are committed to transparent and honest disclosure of all material connections.
6. Why we use affiliate links
Affiliate income is one of the primary ways AT EASE funds its operations. It allows us to:
- Keep the Website free to access with no paywalls
- Avoid intrusive advertising and pop-ups
- Invest in original research, testing, and fact-checking
- Pay contributors and maintain our editorial team
- Cover hosting, infrastructure, and development costs
